Accommodations / Bedrooms

Perhaps the most fabulous room in the house, the parlour is bright and comfortable;
a lovely place to curl up with a book or chat with a friend or family member after a long
and dusty trip. The formal furniture will make you feel as if you have slipped back in time,
and the delicate details will remain in your mind long after you have ended your visit.

The dining room is where you will take your breakfast in the morning. Furnished in
dark wood and offset by French doors, you may forget about how good the pasty
tastes for moment. However, one bite of Oliver's wondrous croissants should bring you
back to reality...

The Pine Room is comfortably furnished with a four poster bed, perfect for that
romantic getaway on the weekend. Lacy curtains and antique lamps finish the room,
adding to the effect of the ravishing pine furniture.

The Twin Room is furnished with two single beds. It is perfect for good friends
who want to share a weekend and a room, but not a bed. Classically decorated and
comfortable, it is sure to be a place of fond memories for friends to share together.

The Antique Room is furnished in 1920's furniture which will be a hit with anyone
who longs for a simpler and more romantic Victorian era. The bright and airy
room is sure to linger long in your memory and bring you for a return visit.

History

This lovely home was built in 1908 by Mr. Noble, who made a fortune by lending money
to local farmers. Mr. Noble was a doctor, and when he passed on in 1927 the house
became the local nurses residence. In the 1950's it again became a private residence and
was considered a historic site. The renovations have done by many previous owners,
encompassing a fifteen year period. Luckily, all have respected as much as possible in the
style that began at the beginning of the century. Some added extra features are a
sauna and a gazebo, which are both located in the garden.
